The Marcus Garvey Ballroom is one of Nottingham's oldest live music and event venues, the spectacular dome shaped ceilinged in the 800 capacity ballroom has placed host to many famous bands, acts and clubnights. It is currently the home of the massive rave and dance clubnights "Firefly" and "Detonate", but also has in the past played host to musical acts as wide ranging as Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), The Kooks and the "Wildside Festival" (the UK's only glam metal festival which featured Vain, Tigertailz, and more).



This new website is a work in progress, designed to work in the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers at a minimum resolution of 1024x768. Any problems please let us know.

Welcome to The Marcus Garvey Ballroom based close to the city centre and Canning Circus (where the junction of Ilkeston, Derby and Alfreton Road meet) with live music events occurring every month.
